ERCI Employees to Participate in 15th Annual Cultural Resource Protection Summit

The 15^th Annual Cultural Resource Protection Summit is this week and four ERCI employees are planning to attend! ERCI Archaeologists Emma Dubois, Fiona Koehnen, and Leah Koch-Michael will attend both days. Emma and Leah will also be volunteering behind the scenes to help facilitate the Summit.

Kelly Bush, ERCI President and Principal Investigator, will be a panelist in the session “Carry It Forward: Cultural Practices to Restoration Ecology Today.” Session participants from a variety of backgrounds will discuss the relationship that traditional Coast Salish language and cultural practices have with indigenous plants, anthropogenic landscapes, and current ecosystem restoration practices.
